It was a nicely appointed hotel with exceptionally helpful staff. The superior apartment room included a balcony, coffee and a lounge, we were happy about that. The place had a quiet atmosphere...

the breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of delicacies. i had good value for money room with a lounge area, a storage space, and coffee. the location to a museum and a gallery set a short walk to the hotel was convenient and perfect. was in a nice quiet area and close to restaurants and bars.

It was close to good transport links and great for the solo traveller

Great location - walking distance from station and nightlife at Crown casino. Room was well appointed by euro standards but spartan by American standards. Little extras such as coffee machine in lobby and massage chairs were appreciated.

Wifi will not work with iPhone or iPad because it relies on using a pop up window to monitor usage. Will likely become a non-problem when Apple releases OS4 for its devices. Download limits in Ausralia ensure that free wifi does not exist anywhere in public places.

Amazing water pressure and luxurious toiletries.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel very convenient to Southern Cross Station, Telstra Dome and Docklands. Just a short tram trip to centre of Melbourne. Would happily use this Hotel again.

Would have loved the bar downstairs to be open on weekends.

The one-bedroom apartment was super clean and spacious, with a comfy bed, made me sleep like a baby. The bathroom had a spa bath that was totally relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and I loved the free hot drinks and snacks in the lobby. Super close to Southern Cross station, a big win.

Very well refurbished building with a history and high level of energy efficiency. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location in the city centre, next to public transport hub. WiFi without surcharge.

All staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Good lighting in the room which is unusual. (Many hotels assume that their residents do not read). Bed and pillows comfortable. Everything worked. Good breakfasts.
